About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to direct and oversee all financial activities, driving financial planning while ensuring that Silk Laundry’s financial commitments are met.

A day in the life of:

  • Lead financial planning and analysis, leverage predictive analytics.
  • Oversee finance team and align goals with business objectives.
  • Prepare management accounts, financial statements, and tax returns for legal entities incorporated in Australia, Canada, United States, and Spain, including consolidated accounts
  • Strong foreign currency and treasury management experience preferable
  • Handle divisional budgets, three-way forecasts, and daily cash flow forecasts.
  • Manage general finance functions, and AR/AP across international locations.
  • Prepare and present board reports, and liaise with stakeholders
  • Oversight of corporate finance functions, including capital allocation, fundraising, and risk management.
  • Drive adoption of ESG metrics into financial models.
  • Ensure compliance with various governing bodies in domestic and international jurisdictions.

What you need to succeed:

  • Senior finance experience, preferably in fashion or retail.
  • Proficiency in large EPR/financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional team management skills.
  • Experience driving financial sustainability and growth.
  • 5 years post admission experience as a member of Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand and/or CPA Australia preferred
